This 2nd Grade Math Centers: Addition, Subtraction, Place Value, and Number Sense Activities resource has been a wonderful addition to my classroom! The activities are engaging, hands-on, and perfectly aligned with the skills second graders need to practice throughout the year.

I appreciate the variety of center activities, which help keep students motivated while reinforcing important math concepts. The addition and subtraction practice is meaningful, and the place value and number sense tasks encourage deeper mathematical thinking. Wonderful, “easy prep” resource to supplement math lessons.

  7. Andrew S. –

I like active learning. This gives a bunch of things to do to help 2nd graders work together and learn. You would need to demonstrate and practice before setting them free, but this has ample opportunities to practice number sense and math. You could tweak these for younger or older students for stretching learning or review as you saw fit.

  8. Janine J. –

Easy to set up and students engaged with the materials.

How do I access my downloads?

Right after you check out, your download links are on the order confirmation page, and your receipt email has the same links. Don’t see the email? Check your spam or promotions folder.

You can also grab your files anytime: log in and go to My Account > Downloads.

My download is a .zip file. How do I open it?

Each resource downloads as a .zip folder that holds all of its files.

  • iPhone or iPad: open the Files app, find the zip in Downloads, and tap it. It unzips into a folder you can open.
  • Mac: double-click the zip.
  • Windows: right-click the zip and choose Extract All.
My file won’t open or shows a file-path error.

This usually happens on Windows when the files are unzipped inside the Downloads folder, because the folder path gets too long. Move the zip to your Desktop, then right-click it and choose Extract All.

Still stuck? Reach out and I’ll help.

No, you can check out without signing up. An account is created for you automatically with the email you use at checkout, and you’ll get an email to set your password. If you already have an account, your order is added to it.
