This resource is excellent. I would highly recommend it.

  2. Victoria S. –

This was a perfect lesson for my older school garden club members.

  3. Martha B. –

I’m not sure what the students like more — crushing the leaves with the mortar and pestle, or seeing the colours that came out of them the next day! A few weeks later, I brought in the leaves from the same trees (I used Oak, Maple, Buckeye, Ginko and Beech) , which had finally changed in colour. We matched them up! It was awesome! Thanks for the fun learning opportunity, Catherine!

  4. 1st Grade Thoughts –

You can also grab your files anytime: log in and go to My Account > Downloads.

My download is a .zip file. How do I open it?

Each resource downloads as a .zip folder that holds all of its files.

  • iPhone or iPad: open the Files app, find the zip in Downloads, and tap it. It unzips into a folder you can open.
  • Mac: double-click the zip.
  • Windows: right-click the zip and choose Extract All.
My file won’t open or shows a file-path error.

This usually happens on Windows when the files are unzipped inside the Downloads folder, because the folder path gets too long. Move the zip to your Desktop, then right-click it and choose Extract All.
