Description
Odd Number Out prompts ask students to do some fairly abstract thinking. Students are given a set of number and must decide what number does not belong justifying their answer. With multiple correct answers for each card, student must have a solid grasp of number relationships, skip counting, place value, and number patterns. The cards were created to progressively get more difficult, working within numbers sets of 10, 20, 50, and 100.

I purchased these number talks after noticing my new school’s math curriculum doesn’t provide good opportunities for students to talk about math. I love that these are easy for me to use and implement and spark good conversation among students. Thanks for creating an amazing product!
