Catherine Reed is one of my absolute favorite TPT sellers, and this resource is exactly why! Her materials are always thoughtfully designed, engaging, and aligned with best practices for developing number sense. This bundle has been an incredible tool for helping my students build fluency within 20 while truly understanding the relationships between numbers.

I love how the activities focus on the making 10 strategy for both addition and subtraction. Rather than simply memorizing facts, students develop a deeper understanding of how numbers work together, which has had a noticeable impact on their confidence and accuracy. The progression of skills is intentional, and the activities provide meaningful opportunities for students to practice, discuss, and apply their thinking.

The variety included in the bundle keeps students engaged and makes it easy to use throughout the year. I’ve incorporated the activities into whole-group lessons, small groups, math centers, intervention, and independent practice. No matter how I use them, students remain actively involved and are able to strengthen their fluency in a way that feels purposeful and fun.
