Description

An important part of teaching primary students is to build number fluency and flexibility. Students should be able to encounter numbers in a variety of formats and engage with them in a variety of ways. During our Representing Numbers conversations, I encourage students to branch outside of the typical ten frame, plus one, etc. These are great strategies when we first start, but after the first few days students can build on these basic representations to develop different relationships and understanding.

This Resource Can Also Be Purchased in A Discounted Bundle HERE.

There are 72 prompt cards included in this resource that offer 4 weeks of powerful number conversations, as well as, a variety of recording sheet options for math centers and assessment. Number conversations can be built into your daily schedule as short, daily exercises aimed at building number sense. Number sense is the ability to understand numbers and quantities, to use numbers flexibly, and to perform calculations mentally.

How do I access my downloads?

Right after you check out, your download links are on the order confirmation page, and your receipt email has the same links. Don’t see the email? Check your spam or promotions folder.

You can also grab your files anytime: log in and go to My Account > Downloads.

My download is a .zip file. How do I open it?

Each resource downloads as a .zip folder that holds all of its files.

  • iPhone or iPad: open the Files app, find the zip in Downloads, and tap it. It unzips into a folder you can open.
  • Mac: double-click the zip.
  • Windows: right-click the zip and choose Extract All.
My file won’t open or shows a file-path error.

This usually happens on Windows when the files are unzipped inside the Downloads folder, because the folder path gets too long. Move the zip to your Desktop, then right-click it and choose Extract All.

Still stuck? Reach out and I’ll help.

Do I need an account?

No, you can check out without signing up. An account is created for you automatically with the email you use at checkout, and you’ll get an email to set your password. If you already have an account, your order is added to it.
