This is a great resource for teaching main idea and supporting details! The animal and habitat passages were engaging for second graders and made the skill easy to understand and practice. Students were able to identify the main idea and use text evidence to support their answers with confidence. The activities were clear, well-structured, and perfect for whole group, small group, or independent work. A strong, low-prep resource for building reading comprehension skills! ???
