I loved this unit. I liked the vocabulary cards as well as the online resource section. Great informaton about each of the polar animals we talked about. Adapted some of the pages to write as a class about the animals. The children also enjoyed talking about blubber – such a fun word!

I used this in my second grade class while I was benchmarking students and my class was able to work on the tasks independently or in pairs with just a little preloading. We had such great discussions and we learned SO much!!! I would recommend this to any 2-3 grade teacher!
