Cyber Monday & A (Brief) Return to 5th Grade!

Hi friends! Today was awarded “Our Best Day So Far” by my 1st grade friends, and it really was amazing. We received our first postcards from around the United States, started decorating our classroom Christmas tree, played 2 riveting rounds of Find Someone Who, and began making 10 to add. Awesome day, I say.

I wanted to stop by to say that this weekend I temporarily returned to my 5th grade roots working to collect all the notes that I used with my friends. Last year, I taught my 5th graders how to note-take and continually practiced with them. I expected that students take the notes they need to learn. With that said, my first class of the day was co-taught with a Special Education teacher, and students in this first class needed additional support when note-taking. Guided notes were an accommodation listed on many of their Individualized Education Plans, so I created these notes to scaffold their learning. With the TpT Cyber Monday Sale, it’s the perfect time to snag these ditties for 28% off!

I also finished up the January companion to my Math Mini-Books: Addition with 10, 20, and 30 with 3 Addends.

I always love seeing my resources in action in classrooms around the country/world. You can check an awesome collection of pictures I’ve been sent here on my Faceobok page. It’s always so cool to see how different teachers implement the same resource! If you ever have a picture to share, I’d love to see it! 🙂 Below are some of my favorite resources. All these resources are 28% off today and tomorrow only (with the code TPTCYBER at checkout).

As you’re preparing for the upcoming school year (eekkk!), you might want to check out some of my subway art posters and my labels for organizing your library! (To check out a bundle of ALL of these resources, click here.)

And of course, I can’t leave out my Primary friends! All of these resources will also be 28% off.

Well, friends, I’m off to fill my cart. 🙂 Have a fantastic evening. Happy Shopping!
