Nashville Blogger Meetup!

 Hi, friends!

Yesterday was a super day, and the
blogging world became a bit more real. Greg and Elizabeth organized a Nashville
Blogger Meetup! It was so wonderful to put faces with blog names, talk schools,
and compare experiences in the cyber world. 🙂 I had SO much fun meeting some
awesome bloggers…so much fun that I neglected to take pictures…oops! So, if the picture has people in it, all the
credit goes to Greg or Elizabeth!
Here is a group picture outside of Amerigos.
We have Greg {Smedley’s Smorgasbord},
Elizabeth {Kickin
It In Kindergarten
}, Holly {Mrs. Ehle’s
Kindergarten
}, Dana {Common to
the Core
}, Stacy {Simpson’s
SuperStars
}, Misty and Christy {Teaching Times Two}, Sara {A Rocky Top Teacher}, Becky {A Flip Flop Kindergarten},
Asha, Kristine, and Danielle who are blog stalkers!
Greg was just as funny in person as he
his online. Plus, he was styling his awesome new Christmas gift!
Our wonderful hosts has been hard at
work, and had oodles of awesome prizes to giveaway! I scored my first boxes of Scentos. Friends, these things are
addictive. Like I graded an entire stack of papers while sniffing away! Plus,
there were 2 sets of stickers which will be perfect for Sticker Friday. My
friends will be SO excited for scented stickers. 🙂  I was also blessed with a gift card from Oriental Trading, and some fantastic
non-fiction books from American
Reading Company
. Since they are written for primary students, the books
will be fantastic for my 3rd grade intervention kiddos.
It was such a fantastic experience and
cannot wait to see these friends again! Thank you to our wonderful hosts, Greg and Elizabeth.
I was reminded of how much I enjoy blogging and what a fantastic
community/support it is to me and my classroom!

What a fun day! I'm so jealous that nothing like this happens by me. (Maybe I should organize something for the summer….hmmm…..)
